Independent buyer-side yacht advisory · Asia & Europe
Private motor yacht acquisition, refinement and delivery, tailored around the owner.
We act for the buyer alone: defining the brief, sourcing and evaluating vessels, managing refit in Asia, and delivering the yacht to your home waters.
Our position
Advisers, not a brokerage.
We hold no inventory and have no vessels of our own to sell. Our role is to represent you: to find the right yacht, establish what she is really worth, and see her through refit and delivery — so that every decision is made with your interests alone in mind.
Buyer-side
We sit on your side of the table in every negotiation.

Six stages, one clear process.
A typical commission runs twelve to twenty-four months from first conversation to the yacht's first season in home waters — most of it spent in refit.

Why the brief comes first
The right yacht starts with the right questions.
Most disappointing purchases are not bad yachts — they are good yachts bought for the wrong purpose. Before we look at a single listing, we agree in writing what the yacht must do for you. Every later decision is measured against that brief.
- Intended use
- Day cruising, family holidays, long passages or charter — each points to a different yacht.
- Cruising region
- Range, draught, climate and local regulations narrow the field quickly.
- Guests and layout
- How many people aboard, how often, and how much privacy they expect.
- Crew
- Owner-operated, occasional skipper or permanent crew changes size, layout and cost.
- Total budget
- Purchase price, refit, delivery and — above all — the annual cost of running her.
- Ownership horizon
- Two seasons or ten years: resale value matters differently in each case.

“The right yacht is never simply purchased. It is composed — slowly, and with great care.”
Refinement
A well-chosen yacht, refined around its owner.
A sound pre-owned hull with a considered refit can offer more — in layout, finish and value — than a new yacht at the same budget. South-East Asia combines skilled craftsmanship with competitive yard rates and dry-dock capacity, which makes a meaningful refinement possible where it would be prohibitive elsewhere.
We define the scope with you, select a suitable yard, and oversee the work on your behalf, with written reporting throughout.

Sea trials: what to test before you commit
A sea trial is the buyer's opportunity to see how a yacht operates beyond the berth. It should be planned, observed and recorded as part of a wider technical assessment, not treated as a short demonstration cruise.

What a pre-purchase survey can and cannot tell you
A pre-purchase survey is an important technical assessment of a yacht's condition at a particular time. Its value depends on a clear scope, access to the yacht and supporting specialist inspections where needed.
