Asia motor yacht asking prices by length band
A snapshot of 19 priced active motor yacht listings in Asia shows a marked step up in median asking price between the 18-22 m and 22-26 m bands. The figures are indicative asking prices, not a market index or evidence of achieved sale values.

For buyers considering an 18–35 m motor yacht in Asia, asking prices can provide a useful first view of the available market. This small listing sample shows how price and price per metre varied by length band on 9 October 2026, while also underlining the need to assess each yacht on its own condition, specification, history and refit requirements.
The figures
| Length band | Priced active listings | Median asking price | Median USD/metre | Important context |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 18–22 m | 6 | USD 840,000 | USD 43,300 | |
| 22–26 m | 7 | USD 2,185,000 | USD 91,100 | |
| 26–30 m | 5 | USD 2,700,000 | USD 98,800 | |
| 30–35 m | 1 | USD 1,500,000 | USD 46,000 | Single 1991-built listing; indicative only |
| Overall sample | 19 | USD 1,998,000 | USD 91,100 | Median build year: 2014; median length: 23.99 m |
Of the 20 yachts tracked, 19 were active listings with published prices and one had sold. Seventeen active listings were priced in USD and two in EUR. Non-USD listings were converted to USD using ECB reference rates published via frankfurter.app on 9 October 2026.
What the data suggests
The clearest feature of this snapshot is the difference between the 18–22 m band and the two bands above it. The median asking price rises from USD 840,000 in the 18–22 m range to USD 2,185,000 in the 22–26 m range. Median asking price per metre also increases from USD 43,300 to USD 91,100.
The 26–30 m band has the highest median figures in this sample: USD 2,700,000 and USD 98,800 per metre. That does not mean every yacht in this range should be valued at that level. It simply describes the middle asking-price observation among the five listings in that band at the snapshot date.
The 30–35 m result should not be read alongside the other bands as a trend. It is based on one listing only, a vessel built in 1991. Its asking price of USD 1,500,000 and USD 46,000 per metre are relevant to that individual listing, but are not sufficient to support a wider conclusion about 30–35 m yachts in Asia.
What it means for buyers
Asking-price comparisons are a useful starting point, but they are not a substitute for a yacht-specific assessment. For a buyer, the practical questions are likely to include:
- whether the yacht’s condition supports its asking price;
- whether its build year, length and specification sit sensibly within the available choices;
- whether planned refit work changes the true acquisition budget;
- whether the yacht is suitable for delivery to the owner’s intended home waters; and
- whether comparable listings are genuinely comparable in condition and readiness.
The overall median asking price of USD 1,998,000 provides broad context for this particular sample. However, the sample’s median length was 23.99 m and its median build year was 2014, so it should not be applied mechanically to yachts that differ materially in size, age or condition.
Method and limitations
This is a snapshot of public listings verified by Voyage & Keel, rather than a complete record of all yachts for sale in Asia. It covers 19 priced active motor yacht listings between 18 m and 35 m, drawn from 20 tracked yachts, on 9 October 2026.
The figures are asking prices, not sale prices. They therefore do not show negotiated outcomes, transaction terms or the cost of refit and delivery. The sample is small, especially in the 30–35 m band, where one listing cannot establish a market pattern. It is indicative only and should not be treated as a market index.
Prices shown in EUR were converted to USD using ECB reference rates published via frankfurter.app, with a rate date of 9 October 2026.
