What happened

The Taiwan International Boat Show will return to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, from 13–15 November 2026 for its fifth edition.

The event is organised by the Kaohsiung City Government and will be held across four marinas in Kaohsiung’s Asia New Bay Area. It is the only boat show in Taiwan to combine on-water displays, including yacht boarding and sea trials, with on-shore exhibitions.

More than 57 exhibitors, over 78 yachts and more than 100 booths are expected at the 2026 show. Participants are expected from 14 countries and regions, including Italy, Germany, France, Finland and the UK.

Among the announced yacht displays, Amal Yachting is expected to show a 23.7m Ferretti Infynito 80, a 30.1m Ferretti 1000 and a 30.2m Riva 102 Corsaro Super. Simpson Marine is listed with a Bluegame BGX63, a Nautor Swan 51 and a Sanlorenzo SX76.

Other exhibitors listed for the event include Cadcam Marine, KhaShing Enterprise, Lohas Ocean Leisure, Novatec Yachts and Yacht PinAn.

Alongside yacht viewings, the programme includes industry forums, procurement meetings and networking events.

Why it matters for buyers

For buyers assessing a yacht in the 18–35m range, the announced line-up includes several yachts within or close to that bracket. The ability to board yachts and take part in sea trials can help distinguish between a specification on paper and the practical experience of being aboard.

The show also brings together international and regional exhibitors in one setting. This may be useful for buyers who are considering yachts located in Asia, or who want to understand the range of activity around Taiwan and the wider region.

Taiwan ranks first in Asia and fifth worldwide for superyacht orders, according to the Boat International Global Order Book. That position gives the event relevance beyond the individual yachts displayed, particularly for buyers following regional new-build and brokerage activity.

The show’s previous edition covered 20,000 square metres and attracted around 300 exhibiting companies and approximately 16,500 visitors, according to Jufair. Those figures relate to the full event across all boat categories, rather than only the superyacht exhibitors and yachts identified for the 2026 edition.

What to watch

The final exhibitor list and confirmed yacht attendance will determine the practical value of the show for individual buyers. Announced displays indicate a mix of motor yachts, sailing yachts and other yacht types.

For buyers planning a visit, the on-water element may be particularly relevant where a yacht is available for boarding or sea trials. Procurement meetings and industry forums may also offer useful context, although any purchase, tax or legal decisions should be considered with appropriately qualified advisers.
